To meet the IT needs of Sandvik Coromant's business globally, where Big Data, the Internet of Things and On-time Data have entered the scene, our SAP Competence Center is involved in many exciting projects to meet new demands and expectations from both business and customers. We are now looking for an ERP Specialist for our SAP Sales, Supply Chain & Production team, to be a key player in our future growth within the SAP area. With us, you will be part of a local team with global responsibility, and you will take part in interesting short and long-term development projects, in addition to maintaining existing solutions and supporting users of these systems.
The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden, and as we support our business globally, the frequency of traveling will depend on the projects and activities you are involved with.
Your challenge
As ERP Specialist, you participate in the business process definition in order to understand processes, requirements and design solutions for identified gaps. You provide system competence in the SAP modules; SD, MM and/or PP areas. Creating outline solutions and estimate efforts needed to implement suggested solutions, creating functional specification and configuring solutions are some of your tasks, as is ensuring solution systems documentation. Furthermore, you work with system test, configuration, development and approving of tests, and you are responsible for facilitating knowledge transfer to other project team members and the Application management team.
Your profile
For this position, we are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in IT, Logistics or Production and with at least five years' experience from working within the SAP in a similar role. You are well acquainted with the challenges of working in a global organization and with a global systems set-up, alternatively, you have SAP knowledge/experience as a user within logistics or production. In addition, general knowledge of ERP is a plus. As we are a globally present team based in Sweden, we expect you to have good communication skills in English.
