Eltel is a leading Northern European provider of technical services for critical infrastructure networks - Infranets - in the segments of Power, Communication and Other, with operations throughout the Nordics, Poland and Germany. Eltel provides a broad, integrated range of services from maintenance and upgrade services to project deliveries. This includes design, planning, building, installing and securing the operation of power and communication networks for a more sustainable and connected world today and for future generations.
We are looking for a team member to our Business Application Services team with core competence in IFS ERP (Applications 7.5, 9.0 and IFS Cloud) and good understanding of business processes
The job:
Your daily tasks will include resolving issues and fulfilling service requests but also participating in development and projects . You are part of a 15 people IFS team, which includes members in six European countries. You will report to the ERP Team Manager.
Main responsibilities are to ensure that Eltel's Service and Maintenance process (core OTC process) in IFS and related systems continuously supports the business operations. Specifically, you are expected to master on conceptual level the end to end IT solution that supports the Service and Maintenance process, to ensure a coherent solution and smooth operations.
The job location is Sweden: Bromma, Malmö or Gothenburg.
Main tasks in operations and support:
1st and 2nd level support based on reported incidents and service requests
Proactive problem solving and preventive actions to ensure smooth production, including investigation of root causes for problems and creating solutions
Possible tasks in projects and minor development:
Analysis of change requirements, reviewing alternative solutions, creating specifications and work estimates
Management of the implementation work, configuration, documentation
Definition of test scenarios and cases, testing
Tasks and responsibilities are examples and not limited to the above.
Our requirements:
Since you will be working with our core process, you must have
Good understanding and expertise of the Service and Maintenance, Materials Management or related processes
Relevant experience from application support and implementation projects
Knowledge of IFS ERP functionality, parameterization, configuration and customization
Respect for the priority and urgency of incident resolution to resume and maintain business operations
Aptitude for process thinking and improvement with an organisation-wide view of the process
Fluent verbal and written English language skills (knowledge of Finnish or Scandinavian languages is a plus)
To succeed in the role you need to be familiar with SQL and PL/SQL, ITIL4 practices and Kanban method principles as well as working with ticketing tools (ITSM tools). You like hands on working in IT support and projects, you are eager to learn new and willing to share knowledge with others, you enjoy customer service and interaction with people.
