hela Sverige Nasdaq is now looking for an ERP (Enterprise resource planning) SPECIALIST to join at the Stockholm office. Located in the renovated former Ford assembly plant in Frihamnen, our spacious and open plan factory-style campus houses 650 of Nasdaq's talents across many areas.
Nasdaq, the creator of the world's first electronic stock market, is the world's largest exchange solution company providing top of the line trading and clearing technology. Our technology powers more than 70 marketplaces in 50 countries, and 1 in 10 of the world's securities transactions across six continents.
The position will support Nasdaq's ERP solution, currently PeopleSoft Financials 9.1, but will be replaced by a cloud based ERP platform in the near future. The main ERP user base is the international Accounting Operations team located in Vilnius, Lithuania.
You will work closely with the business users assessing their needs and translate requirements into functional design documentation; configure and maintain the platform as well as participate in enhancement and project implementations.
Responsibilities:
Participate in project implementations and drive smaller enhancement projects
Provide 3rd level production support - take ownership and trouble shoot business or PeopleSoft application issues until they are resolved
Support month and year end close process
Work as part of a global support team
Develop and maintain good relationships with the business users and IT colleagues to ensure successful issue resolution and to meet expected customer service levels
Act as the liaison between Finance and IT
Test fixes and changes prepared by the development team
Maintain business users guides and other system documentation
Recommend solutions to user issues or requirements
Conduct periodic training of ERP system functionality
Requires extra hours as needed, to meet month and year end closing schedules
Requires occasional business travel to other international Nasdaq offices
Degree in Accounting/Finance, Master degree preferred but not required
6 - 8 years operational experience in Accounting or supporting Accounting systems
Business analysis experience implementing and/or supporting Financial ERP systems; one or more of the following Financials modules are preferred: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Fixed Assets
Fluent in English. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and an attention to details
Ability to think critically, analyze, prioritize, and take initiative
Ability to work under pressure with significant time constraints and high workload volume during Financials month and year end closes
Ability to use existing business applications to increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy
Good networking skills, ability to build relationships within the organization
Excellent teamwork skills
Must be very service minded
