Description
Product Introduction Management is a unit within BNET Supply organization. The unit is responsible for securing all supply-chain adaptation activities for BNET throughout the product lifecycle, including Supply Chain Definition, Product introduction, Maintenance and Phase out. PIM Radio is working with Radio Products - GSM, WCDMA and LTE.
The Project Office for New Product Introduction in Kumla is now recruiting a project manager for test development.
As a project manager you need to have basic knowledge about the PROPS model. We have a test development model that is founded on PROPS and serves as a guideline in our projects.
The tasks include setting up time plans, budgets, securing personnel, follow up on progress and budget and report status at steering groups etc. Some experience from driving projects is desirable.
The personnel involved are mainly test engineers and the first time you will spend as a test engineer in order to understand the business and what support and guidance is expected from a project manager. The profile of the project manager we are seeking is a test developer with an administrative touch. You must be able to bridge between HW design and test development in a relaxed way. The following description is valid for a test engineer:
Develop test methods with focus on implementation of production test for radio base station HW.
Work with improving and optimization of test solution with regards of stability and test time.
The work includes a lot of contact with other Ericsson sites around the world and this requires traveling abroad.
Documentation of test system products (both HW and SW).
Qualifications
Qualification (Formal Education Needed):
Master degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Requested Competence:
RF HW design. Knowledge about how RF signals are attenuated, amplified, filtered and switched.
SW competence in C++/COM and C#/.NET. Tools like Visual Studio and Clear Case.
DC/DC. Knowledge about how DC/DC quality affects RF performance.
Electrical interface. Knowledge about how to achieve functionality such as signal conditioning and I/O in HW.
Knowledge about measurement methodologies regarding how to measure on GSM, WCDMA and LTE products.
Experience from production testing development is desirable.
