Description
Ericsson Supply Site in Kumla is a part of Business Unit Networks. We are globally responsible for predevelopment, industrialization and production of the next generation Radio Base Stations.
As Printed Circuit Board/Printed Board Assembly verification engineer you will participate in New Product Introduction projects of our Radio Base Station systems and be responsible for the producibiliy verification.
This means you will review PCB/PBA designs from a production point of view and give feedback and improvement suggestions to our design departments, so we get producible products at a reasonable cost, with high yield in a short time to the market.
You will be working in a group called Design Support, which also includes an extensive failure analysis & metrology lab and people working with producibility verification of components and mechanics.
Design Support is the interface between R&D and production and is the primary partner for producibility and building practice questions.
Qualifications
You have a Master or Bachelor degree in Electronics and/or you have a broad experience preferably within both PCB Technology and Surface Mount Assembly Technology area. You have CAM competence (Valor or similar Design For Manufacturing (DFM) software and component knowledge.
We want you to be comfortable with both reading and speaking technical English and it is of great importance that you understand, enjoy and accept cultural differences since you will be working with designers and engineers from different parts of the world.
You are self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge and are service minded since we are mainly working with Design Support!
