hela Sverige Ericsson Mobile Broadband Modules (MBM) is an important part of "making Internet mobile" and Ericsson's vision of 50 billion connected devices in 2020. Our product development started in February 2007. Today, MBM consists of 175 professionals.
Mobile Broadband Modules develops, certifies and integrates 3G/HSPA/4G modules into a range of devices, not only notebooks/netbooks, tablets, handhelds, but also vehicles, power meters, and gaming consoles ? all in cooperation with our customers who are world leading PC manufacturers Dell, Lenovo, and HP, among others. Interoperability test is performed together with network operators and service providers.
The host software team now has some interesting work ahead of us, such as support for Windows 8, and we need to strengthen our software development team. We are seeking an experienced Windows developer, familiar with all aspects of software development ? requirement analysis, design, implementation, test, and documentation.
The primary target is Windows driver development for embedded modules in notebooks and tablets. You will participate in cross functional SCRUM teams, including cooperation with system architects, as well as test and integration teams. Other tasks include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, participating in pre-studies and feasibility studies of new technologies, improvement of SW development methods, and implementing new tools and environments. You will work in close cooperation with ST-Ericsson and other suppliers.
You have a M.Sc. in Electronic or Computer Engineering, or similar educational background. We prefer extensive experience in an applicable field, but this is not required. A good team fit is also very important.
You have:
Expertise in C/C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio
Experience of driver development and troubleshooting in Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7
Lab work experience
