Your journey within the Innovate Program will start as a System Developer. MAIN DESCRIPTION This specific position is in PDU 4G5G RAN System Management. In Radio Access Network System Management Ericsson's 5G Visions are turned in to reality. We drive the work in technical areas for 5G such as radio resource management, advanced antenna systems, massive MIMO, beamforming, multi-layer spectrum management, traffic management, Internet-of-Things (IoT) adaptations, radio network related machine intelligence and other emerging technologies. In system management we lead the analysis and system design of new radio network features, engage in 3GPP standardization, develop and use simulators to develop and optimize algorithms, collect and analyze data from customer networks and different market support activities. We also support the development teams and performs troubleshooting. There are opportunities for several interesting and challenging tasks, such as driving studies of different new 5G radio network functions, developing and using advanced simulators, acting as bridge to design and verification, taking responsibility for a specific technical area, and engaging in various customer support activities.
