Our Excellerate Global Leadership Program will give you an outstanding opportunity to engage with commercial projects at a strategic and global level, rising up to challenges and becoming and developing as a leader.
As part of the Excellerate program you are able to seize the initiative, operate with a consultative approach and collaborate on cross-technology solutions. The program will ensure you gain real practical insight into our business, our stakeholders and our customers including communication service providers (CSP) across the globe, and how we integrate end-to-end solutions to ensure everyone worldwide is connected.
Your journey within the Excellerate Program will start as a Strategy Manager at Business Area Technologies and New Businesses!
What you will do
Do you want to take part in crafting and growing Ericsson's new businesses? Then, you've come to the right place! At Business Area Technologies and New Businesses, our mission is to identify, shape and accelerate new sustainable business opportunities within Ericsson. We scale new and emerging businesses, well beyond the traditional boundaries of Ericsson core business, to accelerate Ericsson's growth in the Telcom, Wireless Enterprise, and Global Network Platform areas. The future will look different, and we are here to realize what's next.
To continue our journey ahead, we are seeking a Strategy Manager to join our Strategy & Portfolio team. You will join a team working across our portfolio, which will give you unique insights into different businesses. You will engage in strategic deep-dives on key questions, drive problem solving and work in close collaboration with stakeholders to collectively craft a strategy that enables the business to succeed. You would also get the opportunity to work with our early-stage ventures, across a broad set of questions, including: market insights, business development, go-to-market strategies and operating models.
The role will let you face different and exciting challenges to make you develop in becoming one of our future leaders. In addition, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead and co-drive within a wide range of strategic and organizational projects across the unit
Present insights, conclusions, and recommendations to Ericsson leaders
Lead thinking and reviews of business plans to identify gaps and improvements for early-stage businesses in the Business Area Technologies and New Businesses portfolio
Challenge status quo based on facts and logical reasoning, along with engaging as a thought-partner to the business leaders that you support
Work in a highly motivated team of strategy professionals, enabling a steep learning curve on key strategic skills
You will bring

We believe you can challenge us in who we're looking for and that you have a mix of technical and business skills, a strategic mentality and the confidence to speak up and be comfortable with challenging conclusions in a fact-based way and analytical capabilities.
In addition, we believe you have:
BSc or MSc degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
A global attitude and willingness to relocate internationally, with a desire and ability to work in a multicultural environment
2-4 years of work life experience in strategy, business development, sales or equivalent. Background in management consulting is considered a merit
The ability to think and plan strategically. Understanding of scale-ups, business modelling, business financials, go-to-market strategy
Uncompromising integrity - able to deal with highly sensitive information in an unbiased manner
Passion for technology, and interest in being part of the Telecom industry and ICT
Solid presentation and communication skills and proficiency in English
