Are you passionate about making a difference in the life of pets and their owners?

The Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing Musti ja Mirri Group marketing/trade marketing strategy to local market. You will ensure that plans are executed on-time and in line with the Group marketing plan and O/E brand strategy. The Marketing Manager will secure that the Arken Zoo brand is presented within the frame of MMG strategy and values.

In this position, you have a team of 3 direct reports. Arken Zoo is located in Kista, Stockholm and you will be reporting to the Marketing Director, Musti Group. As a marketing manager for Arken Zoo, you are also part of the country leadership team.

Key operational responsibilities

         Responsibility to plan and propose Arken Zoo’s local marketing budget to Marketing Director and Country director
         Secure that the annual campaign plans are executed and delivered on time according to the national campaign process timetable and                    other national campaign plans
         Responsible for Arken Zoo media channels; Print, TV, radio, digital
         Monitor and report effectiveness of marketing communication within the given KPI’s
         Managing the day to day marketing activities of the company together with the marketing team
         Responsible for specified marketing materials
         Responsibility to plan Arken Zoo trade events and annual sponsoring strategy

Skills and experience required

         University degree, preferably with a major in Marketing
         Minimum 3 years of experience of marketing communication and advertising in retail
         Experience of briefing/managing advertising and media agencies and executing branded consumer campaigns
         Knowledge of category management and trade marketing
         Numerate and able to analyse and prepare strategic plans
         Develop own skills and monitor trends and development in area of interest
         Supplier knowledge
         Language skills – Fluent English and Swedish in speech and writing. Finnish is an advantages
