As a Fund Analyst, you will be part of building a team within the EQT support organization being responsible for valuation, reporting and certain fund administration activities in close cooperation with the investment advisory advisory teams across the EQT organization in Sweden and abroad.
The position is based at the EQT office at Blasieholmen, Stockholm and you will report to the Reporting Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
• Perform review of portfolio company related materials such as financial reporting, valuations and commercial updates
• Actively participate in the drive, coordination and control of the portfolio companies market value estimation process and in the quarterly portfolio company and fund performance reporting to investors across EQT funds
• Support in the development and maintenance of performance measurement of fund administration services and related deliverables provided by an external outsourcing partner, including follow-up reporting of KPIs, KRIs, volumes, incidents and status of joint projects and preparing update materials to EQT management
• Assist in the development of the structure and administration for existing and new funds and the continuous drive for improvements of processes supporting the EQT business operations
PROFILE OF THE SUITABLE CANDIDATE
• Genuinely interested in developing a career in the support function (i.e. there should be an aspiration to be part of building the structures and the surrounding administration for the funds rather than seeing this as a way into the investment advisory organization)
• Service oriented and helpful approach while maintaining strong integrity (important to be helpful towards investment advisory professionals without losing the ability to question and push back when required)
• Action and delivery driven mindset with a “sleeves up†mentality as well as flexible and accountable personality
• Ability to operate in an open and outgoing environment, interacting with all levels of the company; team spirit, social competence, outspoken, straightforward, respectful and friendly
• Professional attitude, high work ethics and energy level, flexible style and ability to work under pressure and getting things done both independently as well as in teams
• Potential to develop leadership skills
• SUITABLE BACKGROUND
• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
• High ambition level and ability to independently drive processes forward; delivery mindset, high integrity and accountable attitude
• Service oriented personality and ability to operate in an open and outgoing environment
• Flawless in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and preferably experience in reporting systems (but not required); strong analytical and presentational skills (including business English)
• Preferably experience of corporate valuation and/or private equity transactions (but not required)
