hela Sverige Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Örebro University Hospital is seeking epidemiologists or biostatisticians with good methodological skills.
Main responsibilities
The postholder will be involved in supporting and participating in research in a variety of areas relevant to health and healthcare.
Qualifications and experience
Candidates should have graduated in a discipline with training in quantitative methods. Knowledge of research in health and disease is highly desirable. Knowledge of study design and experience of statistical modelling using software such as SPSS, Stata, R or SAS, is essential. This post will provide an excellent opportunity to continue developing in a dynamic research environment. A postgraduate qualification (such as PhD or MSc) is desirable, but candidates without these qualifications who have the appropriate skills may be considered.
Form of employment
The appointment is full-time and permanent. The salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
The person appointed will be placed in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics which is part of the Clinical Research Centre at Örebro University Hospital. Medical research has a high priority in Region Örebro County. Our research is being developed in close partnership with Örebro University to improve health and healthcare.
