The Environmental Manager has no direct reports but the whole plant 's employees at his/her hands. Just see to that the 2000 people stay engaged in environmental care you will be able to make magic! This role loves the challenges our high pace and result oriented environment brings. It is a social job with an intellectual challenge. We care about people, growth, excellence and results. This is the place where you can make a difference. It's actually a requirement to working here - you need to be passionate about making things better for our organization, employees and humanity. The position is located at the Volvo truck plant in Tuve, Göteborg.

Know, learn and keep up-to-date on the environmental and sustainability stuff, including energy and chemicals
Be a trusted coach and engage our people to make the impossible possible
Run from anyone that believes that environmental work is a bureaucratic and down prioritized area
Be proactive, we move too fast to be reactive
Recognize others and they will recognize you. Most of us like chocolate
Speak up, influence to create positive change and be able to do that in Swedish
Manage your boss, when needed. We are all human
