You will be part of Health, Safety and environmental Governance, within the Power Grids division, in Ludvika Sweden. If you are an experienced Environmental compliance specialist, we would like to talk to you!
Your responsibilities
Contributing to improve the environmental performance within HVDC by applying in-depth environmental knowledge to offer solutions and advice.
Working on a global level with environmental support to our large projects worldwide.
Working with instructions and management systems.
Supporting managers and engineers with regulatory compliance issues (Legal compliance support, Substance control and eco design support).
Contribute to effective risk management by providing advice on key business decisions and implement practices and improvement programs to ensure a strong focus on environment throughout HVDC organization.
Performing environmental audits (internal and external/supplier audits).
Reporting to different authorities.
Provide training and assistance with compliance issues, primarily with EU environmental directives such as RoHS, WEEE, and REACH, including developing training materials and conducting training classes along with resolving related compliance issues.

Your background
Master's degree from a university in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, chemistry or related fields is preferred
2-4 years of work experience in environmental audits or training, compliance and regulatory issues is strongly desirable
You have a proven experience in international or EU legislation in environment field such as Reach/RoHS and WEEE directive
You have in-depth knowledge with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 50001:2018
You are proficient both in Swedish and English
You can work independently as well as in groups and you enjoy working with people.
You are driven, responsible, open-minded and result orientated. You have communication skills and have an analytical mindset
