hela Sverige We are looking for a manager for our Environment Sampling organization in Denmark and Sweden.

About the position
As the Environment Sampling Manager, you will be a part of the business line I&E - Field Services in Nordics. You will report to the Business Line Manager and work together with other managers in the business line to support its development and growth.
You will lead and develop the Environment Sampling organization and you will have responsibility for approximately 40 employees who are working as sample takers, stationed across over 10 locations in Denmark and Sweden. You should expect to travel in the region on a frequent basis.
The Environment Sampling Organization performs sampling of drinking and waste water, water streams, lakes, coasts, raw water, ground water, process water, sediments, pool and beach water, etc.
Your main work tasks are to:
• Personnel responsibility including hiring and training of new employees, setting goals, developing, and coaching the team.
• Develop and optimize processes, instructions, and way of working within the department and towards other departments across the Nordic region.
• Develop and improve the service to our customers.
• Responsible for quality assurance.
• Support your Business Line in growing the business in the Nordic region.
• Support the Business Line Manager in financial reporting and follow-up, forecasts and budgeting.
• P&L responsibility for the Environment Sampling organization.
• Work in close collaboration with the I&E Testing organization to establish effective sales and customer support.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with proven leadership skills , who sets the tone for a customer-focused environment. You establish good relationships with customers and employees and relate well to people at all levels. You have a genuine interest in both your own development as well as the development of others. You demonstrate an interest in and understanding of others and listen, consult, and communicate proactively. Goal orientation, taking initiatives, working under own direction comes natural to you.
You have an interest in technology as new methods and tools are increasingly entering our everyday lives, with demands for even better equipment and software support.
To succeed in the job as Environment Sampling Manager, you have a higher education or equivalent work experience, and documented experience as a leader within field services.
You are native in either Danish or Swedish and have high proficiency in English - both written and spoken.
Other merits/qualifications:
• Experience from environmental laboratory services, environmental consultancy services and/or other services within related industries.
• Education in limnology, chemistry, engineering, or other natural science background.
• High proficiency in both Danish and Swedish.
