Role and responsibilities
Environment and Climate Action Manager leads the Environment and Climate action council, with representatives from all the BU's with the aim of driving Bonava's environmental and climate work in line with Bonava's overall strategy and sustainability agenda.
Main tasks:
Process manager calculations for quarterly/annual allocation of BU carbon budgets and processes for the determination and evaluation of BU specific action plans.
Main responsible for all data collection processes to consolidate Bonava's carbon footprint scope 1-2.
Responsible for the majority of data collection processes to consolidate Bonava's carbon footprint bucket 3.
Main responsible for compilation of environmental and GHG emission data and audit of documentation for CDP report, SBTi and GRI reporting for the annual report.
Project manager and operational resource for development projects (priority established in collaboration with Group ESG Control and Reporting and SVP Brand and Culture) to improve Bonava's ability to deliver on and follow up progress on the climate goals.
BU-support for delivery on the climate and environmental targets
Chairs the Environment and Climate action council
Supports Head of ESG Control and reporting to report on the environmental and climate-related indicators
Coordinates development of the methodologies to target and report progress for GHG-emissions and climate impact
Manages initiatives for research and innovation by assignment from the Environment and climate action council

Required qualifications
An academic degree equaling a Master of Science, with focus on environment and sustainability or other higher university degree in combination with operational experience and on the job training for environmental competence
Documented pedagocical skills
Several years of relevant work experience, for example within sustainability consulting, management advisory, operational environmental management within the construction industry and/or property holding, including:
Change management and experience from managing complex transition projects involving many internal and external stakeholder, perspectives from different cultures and industry traditions, implementation and follow up
Active use of international principles for Green House Gas reporting and science based targets (SBT) to combat climate change for the housing- and construction industry
Technical competence and understanding: tools for life cycle analysis global warming potential in the construction sector (currently Bonava uses OneClickLCA)
Technical competence and understanding of the Normative system used for purchased goods and services tracking for progress for purchased goods and services for scope 3 of the SBTsTechnical competence and understanding of the credit system and technical reporting platform of CDP
Business understanding of the housing industry
Professional level English in speech and writing
