hela Sverige Now we are looking for an entry level ASIC verification engineer to join our Chip Platforms IP team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The ASIC verification team is responsible for ensuring that the integrated circuits Axis develops are functioning correctly. To do this, before the chip is manufactured, we use simulation as well as formal methods.
Our test benches are quite elaborate, and developing them requires extensive knowledge about both digital hardware as well as software engineering principles, in particular object-oriented frameworks. Debugging and identifying potential problems in the hardware design is also a fundamental part of the job.
Since we are a relatively small team, you will have the possibility to work with a wide variety of different verification related tasks. We work with agile methods, and you will be part of a group that collaborates closely to achieve our goals. When you join us, you will be assigned a mentor that ensures that you get up to speed quickly.
Our hardware blocks often implement functionality such as image processing, video compression, and computer vision. As a verification engineer, you will also have the opportunity to learn about the algorithms behind the hardware.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an engineer interested in learning state of the art techniques for ASIC verification. Basic knowledge about digital hardware, as well as a strong background in computer science, is required. Preferably you should have a master's degree in computer science or electrical engineering. You must have an aptitude for understanding, implementing, and maintaining complex systems. Prior experience of ASIC verification is not required as we will train you.
