hela Sverige The Machine Directorate at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden invites applications for Entry Level Project Engineer position, in the Target Division.
Description of main responsibilities
As a project engineer for the Neutron Beam Extraction Systems, your main responsibilities are:
• Being responsible for engineering deliverables as agreed with the work package manager for the Neutron Beam Extraction System
• Being responsible for archiving received engineering documentation in collaboration with project work-unit leaders
• Act as a project go-to person for the Work Package team and external contributors for engineering documentation in the ESS database
• Participate in writing processes and procedures for testing and installation of systems
• Participate in evaluating system and interface requirements for the Neutron Beam Extraction System
• Participate in fabrication testing at fabrication locations
• Develop test specifications and procedures for system tests and commissioning
• Support and participate in the work of ESS' team of researchers by collecting and providing data for related studies
Technical competencies
• Graduated Master in mechanical, electrical, nuclear engineering, physics, or similar engineering
• Knowledge within project management
• Excellent oral and written English skills are a prerequisite; knowledge of other European languages can be an advantage
• Engineering work-experience is not required

Duration & Location
The position is a fixed term position for 1 year.
Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.? The position is to be filled as soon as possible and interviews will be ongoing
