WHAT UTOPIANS DO
The open secret is that the music industry is struggling with the very basics of music accounting: What was played, when and where? Who should get paid and how much?
Utopia Music is bridging the data gap by connecting global consumption, accurate metadata, and fast payments to an industry-wide trust platform. Our goal is to unlock creative value and enable Fair Pay For Every Play to make a better world for Music. The solutions we offer do not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection for all.
THE ROLE
The Corporate IT organization at Utopia is responsible for the underlying corporate IT infrastructure, business applications and end user devices supporting our business units and functional organizations. The enterprise system landscape is growing and so does the need to ascertain that Utopia has an efficient enterprise infrastructure. At Utopia you will come across a wide range of systems spanning from small business applications with a handful of users to company wide tier one enterprise systems such as Oracle Netsuite and Workday. You will be part of the corporate IT organization but work closely with solution owners and other stakeholders across Utopia. Since Utopia is growing fast, both organically and through company acquisitions, it is important to have a uniform infrastructure across all business units. Because of this nature there might be duplications of systems which need to be merged and replaced. The position can be located in Stockholm, Helsinki or Zug.
WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING:
• Overall responsible for Utopia's enterprise architecture and design
• Define architectural principles and guidelines which support Utopia's growth
• Assist the business to define non-functional requirements which can be provided in Request For Proposals.
• Be part of the work to assess the architectural landscape of company acquisitions and the effort required to fit them into the existing architecture.
• Be responsible for the global IT design of our offices, including hardware
• Be the expert and go-to person for architectural matters.
• Establish, track and report on KPIs which measures efficiency of the enterprise architecture
REQUIREMENTS
• +5 years of work experience in a similar role
• Experience in documenting and maintaining architectural drawings
• Previous experience of designing environments evolving around Google Workspace
• Verbal and written fluency in English
• Knowledge in IT infrastructure and application design and how they can be optimized
