We will launch a range of electric vehicles over next three years. Polestar 1 has been presented, and another two models, Polestar 2 and 3, have been announced and are already under development.
Polestar now have an exciting and challenging opportunity for somebody that can work within a fast paced, start-up organisation. With a growing dependency on their parent organisations application portfolio, this role combines typical business analyst and solution architect skills to effectively bridge the gap between business colleagues and application owners within Volvo Car Group. You will report directly to the Enterprise Portfolio Management role within Polestar, within a small but expanding organisation. The success of this role is dependent on the integration and relationship with the relevant business teams and the Volvo delivery teams.
Due to Polestar rapid business growth we are looking for a result-driven member to the IT team comfortable working in a collaborative fast-paced matrix environment, who wants to be part of building up something new, and who thrives in a changing environment.

What you will do
• Act as a critical interface point between the Polestar business and the Volvo Cars application owners and delivery team(s), to successfully deliver and support business change.
• Develop the capabilities, competency and processes within the organisation in ensure suitable application knowledge and process knowledge exists to run the business.
• Defining, analyzing, and documentation of requirements, and ensuring that they are delivered within the project to ensure that business needs are meet.
• Translating, simplifying and communicating the requirements to match the audience.
• Balance needs and expectations of customers, users, and stakeholders through all levels of engagement.
• Identify and facilitate business process change to support change initiatives.
• Support project implementation phases, by turning requirements into test cases, and support business acceptance validation, testing phases.
• Depending on the activity and skill set, act as a project technical resource, helping to configure, setup the appropriate systems.
• Understand the business solution architecture, the integrations and data flows to support business change and daily operations.
• Supporting the business develop business cases as required.
Skills and competencies suitable for the role
A proven strong track record of performing a similar role, with demonstrable analytical skills and communication skills.
The successful candidate is likely to have the following skills:
• Good experience in successfully delivering within a highly integrated enterprise environment
• Good technical background with a desire to continue learning
• Knowledge of and experience of working within SCRUM/Agile delivery teams
• Educated to degree level or a recognized professional qualification
Personal qualities we are looking for
• Cross functional collaboration and an ability to excel and deliver in a fast paced matrix work environments, where requirements can be often ambiguous
• Understanding of systems engineering concepts, and project life cycle
• A clear noticeable passion for business with a customer focus
• Detailed focus and a completer/finisher
