Volvo Trucks Digital & IT is a global function, and is responsible for our Digital/IT strategy, and IT End to End within Volvo Trucks. Our aim is to align process and target architecture of information/IT to business strategies and goals.
Main Responsibilities and Activities
In your role as Enterprise Architect you are building the runways to turn complexity into simplicity. You will provide planning and strategic IT direction for Volvo Trucks aftermarket.
The role is a key business partnership role and glues IT with the frontline activities of the business where software plays a key role.
Within the Digital and IT function you engage and describe a Target architecture aligned with the business strategy in a collaborative environment with both business and IT as interfaces. Here you recommend and participate in the analysis, evaluation and development of the IT strategic and operating plans to ensure that the Enterprise Architecture objectives are consistent with the enterprise's long-term business objectives
Required Knowledge and Experience
Master- or Bachelor Degree or equivalent educational level in Computer Science/ IT
Experience in Enterprise architecture within service, e-commerce and supporting business processes (>5years)
Leadership competences
Provide strategic and architectural leadership for the IT team and business
Certification in TOGAF or equivalent Methods is preferable
Cloud architecture
Integration architecture
Security architecture
Experience in SPARX, LeanIX, Mega or equivalent solutions for documenting EA and information flows
Excellent English, written and spoken
Communicative, with the ability to translate complicated technical discussions to business language and vice versa
Experience working in global enterprises
