The Strategy, Communication & Digital Transformation function is instrumental in creating meaningful, relatable, and actionable connections to our transformation, by developing and orchestrating the Digital & IT strategic direction, the digital transformation, and the change journey ahead of us.
You will be part of the Digital Opportunities Function, which is part of Strategy, Communications & Digital Transformation. This function will together with our colleagues in the entire Volvo Group, inspire and pioneer how we leverage digital opportunities.

This is how you could make an impact
As a Digital Opportunities Enterprise Architect you will serve as a critical link between business and digital logic. You will enable fast prototyping and development of forward looking opportunities, building up of key elements of Digital & IT CAST, while securing adherence to the North Star principles.
You will be successful in this role by combining your ability to plan, design and execute on large holistically compressive initiatives with a roll up your sleeves mentality and take a hands-on approach when needed.
You excel by continuously developing your technical expertise while tirelessly dedicating yourself to understand our business and have the ambition to make a difference in the digital transformation of the Volvo Group
As a team member of the Digital Opportunities team, you will work in a product team construct, with the aim to accelerate the digital transformation of the Volvo Group; while at the same time supporting your colleagues across the Strategy, Communication and Digital Transformation Function. Furthermore, you will have a federated connection to the Enterprise Architects Chapter.
These will be some selected responsibilities:
Lead architecture transformation within given projects or initiatives
Lead the design and consistent evolution of architectures to realize identified business objectives
Serve as a key contributor to the continuous development of our Target Architecture
Cooperate with stakeholders to design the architecture transformation roadmaps and monitor the execution
Drive development of repeatable assets, solutions, products & accelerators when building the practical re-usable components together with the Volvo Group network of Enterprise architects and other expert practitioners
Who are you?

You have a proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-grade architectures in large, complex organization with a decentralized business environment.
You can articulate complex topics to cross functional audiences and the demonstrated ability to think strategically, act tactically, about business, products, and technical challenges
You have a proven track record of success in agile deliveries and the ability to quickly deduce complex topics into actionable tasks
You have a broad overall business understanding which allows you to translate what our business visions would mean in practice
You possess both the technology breadth and depth which allows you to successful navigate between concepts and operations daily
You have a sincere and humble can do-attitude
