The Enterprise Architecture team is key component of Global Business Services Architecture and Engineering. An Enterprise Architect (EA) can be assigned to a client account reporting to the Chief Architect or Account General Manager, a bid team reporting to the Solution Executive or an Offering reporting to the Offering General Manager or Offering Program Manager. The EA is supported by Infrastructure Architects from the Global Infrastructure Services Architecture and Engineering organization.
Your job will be to:
The primary focus of the Enterprise Architect is to take a cross-domain (Business, Application, Data, and Technology) holistic view of the client account architecture, bid solution and service offering to ensure the offering based solution will be delivered successfully and fulfill the intended business outcomes. The EA works in a collaborative manner with senior members of the client's organization, account and service offering and with other members of the CSC team. The EA is expected to bring both thought leadership and a high degree of broad expertise and credibility to each engagement and ensure that all the domains are integrated successfully into the delivered solution. The EA should identify and assess new opportunities with a significant business benefits and IT efficiency for the Client.
As an experienced member of the team, the EA is a trusted advisor to our clients, account and offerings teams in the delivery of innovative solutions to client problems. This includes mentoring the client and other members of the CSC team in developing the holistic view of the delivered solution. The EA formulates a roadmap for implementation and liaise with architects in the customer organization. The Enterprise Architect is not expected to be a technical domain expert but have the experience and capability to manage the risks, issues and dependences of the scoped solution.

Your professional competencies:
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills. Good verbal and written communication style. Ability to confidently build a strong rapport with project teams and the client.
• Working knowledge of an Enterprise Architecture Framework. A practitioner knowledge of a model based framework such as CSC Catalyst, TOGAF, Zachman for Enterprise Architecture.
• Business acumen and IT knowledge. Strong business development skills with an understanding of current market trends, risks and prevalent technologies used in the industry.
• Excellence in strategic and analytical problem solving. Quantitative, fact-based approach to team based problem solving and strategic approach to addressing issues and offering solutions with an aptitude for analytical concepts and thinking.
• Technical understanding and familiarity of the relevant offerings. Not expected to be a technical expert but have the experience and capability to manage the risks, issues and dependences associated with delivery of the offerings.
• The ability to work across verticals and geographies: The role will be regionally based and there is likely to be travel required and, in limited cases, longer term remote working but the EA should be prepared to be mobile and flexible.
• Facilitation skills. The ability to facilitate executive workshops and obtain consensus.
• Negotiation skills. Understanding of principled negotiation strategies and the ability to resolve differing opinions and seek a win-win resolution to conflicts.
