We need scability in everything, and that means in every level of architecture from the lowest levels of the tech stack to the enterprise level. A thoroughly planned systems infrastructure is crucial for the future success of the company. Now we need an Enterprise Architect who will be a key player in building our long term IT-strategy.

The Enterprise architect will be part of a team of architects that each has their own domain ranging from systems architecture to infrastructure. As the Enterprise Architect you are responsible for coordinating the larger picture where you combine the customers needs and see that they are met. This is a new position and the first mission is of course to draw the map.

You know how the map should look like in a fast paced environment characterized by ambition and entrepreneurship. The challenge is of course to align IT with the business demands so that Klarna can grow even faster and expand across the globe. You have the responsibility and ownership of the development of Klarna?s systems infrastructure where you support business and technical stakeholders to take decisions on new IT systems.

This is a substantial challenge since you are the one taking the direction and drawing the map. We are not looking for the person drawing bubbles and arrows. We need the person that get things done.

Required skills

• 5+ years experience of creating successful long-term IT-strategies
• 5+ years of previous experience as a software developer or infrastructure architect
• MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
• Ability to translate business needs to requirements and understand how these fit in the overall picture
• Delivery-oriented personality
• Good communicative skills
