Klarna is taking the step from a start-up to a large company. The things we do today will have a great impact on how the business performs in many years to come. Now we need an Enterprise Architect who will be a key player in building our long term IT-strategy. This is a new position within Klarna and due to our rapid growth, a thoroughly planned IT infrastructure is crucial for the future success of the company.

You are the first to take on this role in Klarna and you will have the opportunity to create the long-term structures within our enterprise architecture framework. You want to create something new and you have the ability to understand how business and IT should align in a fast growing organisation. You will be working closely together with the rest of the engineering department in a fast paced environment characterized by ambition and entrepreneurship.

We value someone who is willing to take on a substantial challenge both from a business need and a technical point of view. The challenge will be
for you to take on responsibility and ownership of the development of Klarna?s IT infrastructure. This includes optimizing information management (storage and retrieval of business data) as well as supporting business and technical stakeholders to take decisions on new IT systems.

Required skills

• Broad and strong technical background with infrastructural focus
• Ability to translate business needs to requirements on IT infrastructure support
• Proven experience of creating successful long-term IT-strategies
• General knowledge in different EA frameworks/methodologies
• Delivery-oriented personality
• Good communicative skills
