The Journey you will lead

As Scania's Technical Cloud Enablement Officer, you have the exciting challenge of aligning Scania's Cloud 1st strategy with the needs of our enterprise business.This is the lead technology architect position where you together with awesome Scania employees will set the technical direction and continue to drive one of our 5 key objectives to develop our Modern Digital Eco System.

You will not only understand their requirements, and enable them to leverage public cloud offerings but also engage in strategic initiatives supporting autonomous, connected, and electrified developments ongoing with design work as well as solving advanced problems.

You are a servant leader combined with your technical role

You believe in the abilities of people and your leadership style enables you to you get respect and trust from people around you. You are great at leading difficult technical challenges forward and have the courage to take tough dialogs and decisions as needed to help drive technical development. You also see and use the true value of working agile. You have a strong understanding of what it means to enable public cloud and secure that our business can thrive using the capabilities of the cloud.

One of your strongest assets is your ability to simplify complex technical issues, explaining them both on a technical and executive level, in order to engage relevant stakeholders and secure decisions needed to drive needed technical development throughout our IT landscape. A well-balanced understanding of the cloud, networks, security, Identity and access, Integration, Data Platforms, etc is key for you to succeed in your role.

You also have the following:

• University degree preferably within a Computer Science related field.
• At least 5 years of experience of working in a broad IT technology related arena, including an architectural role
• Public Cloud Platforms experience on a strategic level and operative level
• A few years experience of in leading strategy development on a corporate level.
• Fluent English skills
• Highly meriting: experience from driving previous technology change journeys within larger global companies.
