Each activity dealing with lots of data, rules and integrations. Because of that - The IT/R&D team needs to add an Enterprise Architect focusing on software architecture working together with the infrastructure architect, product owners, operations and development.
Your days are filled with the joy of
Defining architectural principles that will guide our implementation strategy. Understand the various applications, the purpose they serve and drive code convergence. Work with business, product and process owners to understand their needs, and how we can help them succeed. Collaborate with implementation teams to help them do the right thing the right way on the first attempt. Every time. Help define measures of success and areas for improvement.
Who you are
We think that you are a systematic thinker, having learned a lot from previous mistakes and successful plans, experiments and implementations; maybe the most important lesson is that the journey does not end with UML diagrams - explaining, motivating and getting everyone on board is key. We believe you come from a company in heterogenous multi-site environments, within fintech, gaming or e-commerce - anything high reliability, high-volume data, really. You love communicating your ideas to the team and stakeholders using well-organized diagrams ranging from swim lanes, state machines, deployment diagrams, component diagrams and the odd class diagram. While your coding skills are high-ranking you mainly use them for prototypes nowadays, preferring to explain and teach rather than do it yourself when it comes to production code.
Requirements
At least five years of experience in system engineering and architecture.
Experience of building and constructed software models.
Technical knowledge within software and code.
You need to be experienced from transaction-intensive business or similar.
Working with upscale, or logistics company is meritorious.
Where you'll be
Our epicenter of development is in Stockholm, Hornsbergs Strand. We have warehouses in central and southern Sweden. We offer ample opportunities to working from home, but there will be a lot of creative sessions where your presence by the white board is a key to interaction, success and team spirit. We work "normal" business hours, 40h work week, with lots of flexibilities for picking up kids from day care or avoiding rush hour traffic.
