Jönköping University Enterprise (JUE) is a part of Jönköping University, and provides Pathway courses
for higher education. We host international students, providing them with the pre-conditions needed for
succeeding in the academic environment. We are a young, progressive company, consisting of six
employees with a passion for developing our business.
JUE is now recruiting an English teacher.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The position comprises preparation, implementation and administration of teaching English language
skills. The focus of the education is on academic English for international students, but other teaching in
oral and written proficiency may also become relevant. As part of developing the business and ensuring
high quality, you will work with evaluation and continuous improvements of the education as well as
forming new courses and programmes. The position as a teacher at JUE gives possibilities for study
visits and recruitment trips to focus markets abroad.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• a master's degree in English linguistics or equivalent
• documented educational skills
• experience in teaching English as a professional language
It is meritorious if you have:
• lived for a long time in an English-speaking country and your skill in the English language is
equivalent to an English native speaker level
• experience from abroad university education and international cooperation
• ability to develop new courses
• experience of intercultural teaching
Your collaborative skills are excellent, and you are committed to your work. We believe you are
inventive, enterprising and a skilled educator who is motivated by influencing the design of teaching
according to individual needs.
