We are looking for an English Copywriter for a one-year temporary position, starting May 2024. In this role, you will work with copy in various channels and with the rest of the Marketing teams to create and tell stories that are interesting and inspiring for our Once Uponers.
About the role
As a copywriter at Once Upon, you will work closely with the rest of your team to come up with new, creative, and unexpected ideas that help our brand grow. You'll write compelling, accurate, and on-brand copy that will make our Once Uponers fall head over heels in love with us. You're always up for a challenge and are unafraid to voice your opinions. You'll be an important part of our Brand and Projects team, but will also collaborate with colleagues in other areas and have several touching points with our UX writers and translators.
What you'll do:

Develop campaigns and concepts

Create text content in newsletters, on our website, and in press materials

Produce accurate ad copy

Work strategically on communication initiatives to enhance the overall brand positioning

Collaborate with our other copywriters at Once Upon around best practices and tone of voice

Coordinate translations into other languages

Dig deep to find new engaging stories with interesting perspectives and angles

Challenge and develop our brand and our communication channels

Provide a friendly and relevant voice to create first-class content
Your background
-
Higher degree education in copywriting/communication/marketing or other relevant subjects

A few years of copy experience, spanning from conceptual work to hands-on conversion copy

Excellent English writing skills. Swedish is a plus, as well as knowledge of different variations of English (UK, USA, AUS, CA)

Knowledge in other languages, for example, German and Dutch, would be awesome

Location
This role is located at our headquarters in Skellefteå. We are remote flexible, but we also value the creativity and sense of community that follows from meeting face to face with colleagues.
