We are now looking for two Engineers BOM within the department of Product Lifecycle Engineering!
Description
The Product Lifecycle Engineering department is incorporated inside the Technical Development Organization. The overall responsibilities of the department Product Lifecycle Engineering are to formulate requirements, design influence, develop diagnostics and technical information as well as deliver or publish the information to customers. Our customers are both internal and external, during the vehicles complete lifecycle until scrapping.
As Engineer BOM, you will be a part of a team responsible for BOM Management, variant management and change management, with your primary responsibility for the product structure. The Engineer BOM primarily collaborates internally with Lead Engineers and technical specialists.
This role also involves:
- Create Engineering change orders and assist Lead Engineers in creating and updating BOM
- Assign new part numbers and manage all related information such as related standards, specifications and geometrical references
- Build product structure
- Be responsible for the quality of the BOM and control it before it is released
We are looking for someone who has:
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and interest in the structure of the car
- Experience of BOM and change management and corresponding tools
- Experience in working with PDM/PLM systems eg. Aras Innovator, Teamcenter, Enovia, Windchill
- Experience in Systems Engineering work such as MBSE is a merit
- Experience within automotive business is a merit
- Excellent knowledge and skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Driver license B
