We now have an exciting opportunity for you as an entry level engineer to join us at IKEA of Sweden in Älmhult. We are looking for you with an engineering university degree, and who is ready to take a step into an exciting and innovative work environment. About the assignment
As Engineering Support, you will be responsible to support the engineering team with administration, certification, documentation and verification activities. You will help to secure that product documentation is up-to-date and according to IKEA documentation guidelines and standards. You will also contribute to securing that our products are compliant in all markets through adequate knowledge of product laws and standards and certification schemes.
About the job
As an Engineering Support, you will work closely with the engineers in the product development teams as well as to have a close dialogue with the purchasing organization, suppliers and third party test laboratories to secure for the successful implementation. You will be working with several teams and product areas in parallel. You will be having good insight into IKEA specifications and test methods and keep them updated on changes in legislation and other external requirements that may influence the product areas. You will work with documentation for new product developments as well as with improvements in the running range.
