MacGregor has significant potential to improve internal effectiveness by working closer together across the different divisions in several areas. To achieve this we have launched the Design to Cost (DtC) program, which aims to optimize MacGregor's ability to design more cost-effective products and apply these capabilities globally throughout the organisation After the successful pilot the project is now working on control systems, hydraulic power units and winches as well as preparing for wave 2 roll-out. To ensure this, and accelerate the work of the program, we are strengthening the team with this role. In this position you will be working with R&D and engineering related issues focusing the following areas: . Support and participate in preparing supplier workshops and meetings/ negotiations . Participate supplier workshops and meetings/ negotiations . Prepare & analyze engineering related material ( BOM's, drawings, etc ) . Support in functional breakdown and cost allocation . Participate and support in internal idea generation workshops and meetings . General support to engineering co-ordinator & divisional engineering DtC representatives

To succeed in the position the following are the desired qualities: . Customer oriented, solution and result focused, accountable . Logical and fact based, experience from analyzing and presenting data. . Interpersonal skills, team-player and network building, experience of working with people from different background and culture. . Project management skills and functions efficiently in virtual organizations.
