What you'll do?
As Engineering Quality Manager you will have the responsibility for all quality activities within Engineering and lead a team of quality engineers in our different engineering sites in Sweden. (Linköping, Gothenburg, Stockholm and Skellefteå).
The Engineering Quality Manager has the responsibility to assign resources to perform the quality assurance activities within the development projects and report the outcome to the management. You will be collaborating with the customer and project teams on quality issues, planning QA activities and reviewing results.
You will also ensure that all quality assurance activities are planned according to the Engineering Quality Strategy and be actively involved in activities related to Automotive SPICE, Functional Safety and Cyber security.
You will enforce and support risk prevention, problems solving and Lessons Learned processes (with application of the relevant methodology, i.e. FMEA, 5 why, 8D, root cause analysis), and ensure that any deviations are reported, corrected and that the measures are verified.
As Engineering Quality Manager, you will be a part of the Veoneer 's quality organization and contribute to the continuous improvement activities, and lead the deployment of the quality system in the Swedish engineering sites in collaboration with Quality System Managers.
The Engineering Quality Manager reports to Quality Director Europe, Technical Center Director and Managing Director Sweden.
What you'll bring:
To succeed in this position, we think that you have:
• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in software, electronics or quality
• Experience of embedded software or electronics development
• Working proficiency in English
• Experience in management
If you also have one or more of the following, it will be considered a merit:
• Experience of audit within systems and processes (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, Software quality ASPICE, ISO/IEC 15504 and Functional Safety ISO 26262)
• Knowledge of quality tools used in Automotive
• Knowledge in Swedish or other languages as German or French.

Location: Gothenburg or Linköping, you can be located in either Linköping or Gothenburg, dependent on what suits you the best. Due to summer vacation period, we will have longer repsons time in this process.
