ArriverTM is a new software unit and brand, fully focused on developing perception, fusion and drive policy software for the next generation cars. It will deliver an open, scalable and flexible architecture solution running on Qualcomm® Snapdragon RideTM System on a Chip (SoC) platform. ArriverTM has 800 people in five countries - China, Germany, Romania, Sweden, USA - and builds on more than a decade of experience in active safety software development. The company is wholly owned by Veoneer.
In Sweden we are situated in Linkoping, Stockholm and Gothenburg with around 400 colleagues.
We are looking for an Engineering Quality Lead (EQL) to coach and support the development organization from a quality perspective. Arriver is a new company and we are on a transformation journey. We are also in the middle of defining our global processes and way of working, and as an EQL you will be one of the key persons to support the journey. For the right person this is an opportunity to take part of this journey and influence the outcome.
What you'll do?
As Engineering Quality Lead you will be a team player coaching our teams to improve our Quality Culture. You will also be responsible for the quality assurance activities within our development projects and be in direct contact with different stakeholders; customers, project- and product managers, line managers, etc.
You will be collaborating with the stakeholders and development teams on quality issues, planning and conducting project audits and reviewing project results. You will ensure that any deviations are reported, corrected and that the measures are verified.
You will also be a key contributor to suggesting improvements to our way of working, processes and maintenance of processes. Your drive will be "How to build in quality in our processes, instead of adding them later on, in a process on its own."
You will be part of the global Arriver Quality team, with colleagues around the world. You will work in close collaboration with the global development teams located in Sweden, Romania, Germany, USA and Shanghai.
What you'll bring:
We believe that you are a person who is seeking new and exciting challenges. You already have a solid base and knowledge within product engineering within complex systems. We presume that you thrive in an environment of constant learning and development within your area of expertise.
To succeed in this position, we think that you have:
• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in software, electronics or quality
• Relevant work experience at least for five years
• Experience from Systems development, Project Management or Verification management
• Experience of working with quality standards
• Experience of working Agile
• Ability to lead and join technical discussions to meet the customer's expectations
• Excellent English in writing and speech
• Good knowledge in Swedish (preferred)
• Driving license B
If you also have one or more of the following, it will be considered a merit:
• Experience of audits within systems and processes (ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, Software quality ASPICE, ISO/IEC 15504 and Functional Safety ISO 26262)
• Knowledge of quality tools used in Automotive
• Experience from the automotive domain
• Experience of working in scaled agile systems, such as SAFE/LeSS
