Hitachi ABB Power Grids' GPQS unit in Ludvika, Sweden, part of the group's Power Grids division, currently has a vacancy for an Engineering Operations Manager, at our Field Operations. If you want to work with advanced power and electrical systems and have the necessary drive and customer focus, GPQS offer a stimulating and dynamic environment in a global context where you will be working at the forefront of the industry.
Your responsibilities
You will manage a team of Project Lead Engineers and Project Documentation team
Answer for improvement of engineering processes and quality related progress. and resource planning
Follow up and improve engineering effort costing
Oversee the total engineering coordination in projects
Manage, both strategically and operationally, the appropriate use of technical and human resources
It is important that the Engineering Operations Manager can take the initiative and apply both creativity and perseverance to negotiate and implement the necessary actions

Your background
You have proven experience in managerial position
At least 10 years of experience in project business
You hold Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering
Knowledge of electrical and/or plant engineering and BIM understanding
You are described as organised, quality driven and self-confident team player who can handle both ups and downs and manage problems that may occur
Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken
