Description
We at ENvoi are looking for an Engineering Manager that will be responsible for our client's delivery and operations of an engineering team and provide an engineering counterpart for the Product Manager in the team. As an Engineering Manager for platform Infrastructure team (Android) - you will be responsible for the delivery and operations of an engineering team and provide an engineering counterpart for the Product Manager in the team.
Team deliveries & workstream facilitation:
• Ensure that the team deliveries are on track and highlight to the stakeholders potential risks that exist
• Make sure together with the Tech Leads that processes of the Ways of Working (standup, grooming, planning, retros etc) are followed and fulfill their purpose. Adjust to the feedback and ensure the Ways of Working are serving the team and the priorities
• Make sure that engineers are not blocked in their everyday work
• Be inclusive and make sure everyone is feeling included and safe psychologically in the workstream
• Increase sense of belonging by actively suggesting and/or creating ways to engage, team fun events and others
• Be involved and influence the planning of the upcoming quarter(s). Involve the team as soon as possible in that
• Ensure that the team is taking care of the technical debt and that best engineering practices are followed
• Hold the team accountable for their work and facilitate the removal of the potential blockers
