We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to facilitate learning, excellence and delivery in our R&D department. In this role, you will be instrumental in growing the team and guiding software development to develop our organization. We are a cross-functional team focused on building the best collaboration platform for corporate reporting projects.
YOU WILL
As Engineering Manager your role will be to develop your team, and together with our CTO, continue to evolve a product driven, agile development organization. In collaboration with your teammates you will help drive our ambitious goals, reaching the next phase of collaborative work within reporting!
• Build and lead a team of engineers and QA through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands-on career development.
• Drive and be accountable for technical delivery and work with your team on strategy and execution.
• Facilitate collaboration with other engineers and product managers in solving exciting and challenging problems.
• Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices and help develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices.
• Grow the technical expertise of the team.
What we are looking for
• You're great at developing and growing people and have a strong track record
• You have experience in leading, managing, coaching and mentoring software developers toward delivering timely, high quality software together with them.
• You have experience in encouraging a strong culture in an agile environment.
• Have a validated engineering background with previous experience developing SaaS products and working with different partners helping them understand the trade-offs to different product and technical decisions. You love being close to the code!
• You care about agile software processes, development, reliability, and security.
