All about the role:
This is an exciting new opportunity to lead all front-end and CMS strategy and execution for CDI Experience Organization. As the Engineering Manager - Frontend & CMS, you will ensure the right architecture, solutions, competency, and right-sizing across all product touchpoints. You will spearhead our e-tail first strategy, leading the front-end across our brand sites and commerce solutions, and also provide solutions for end-users that interact with our consumers such as the Technician app, contact center platforms, and Chatbots. Your mission is to create outstanding experiences for our consumers and end-users through curated journeys and designs.
The Consumer Direct Interaction (CDI) Experience Organization is a Digital Product Organization that is responsible for the delivery of Tech solutions to our end-users and consumers across both pre-purchase and post-purchase journeys. we are organized in about 15 product areas that range from Contact Center, E-commerce, Marketing, Identity to AI. You will be leading a product area of your own partnering a product manager, in addition to being accountable for all frontend & CMS across all product areas.
What you'll do:
Lead the front-end and CMS strategy and execution across all product touchpoints.
Lead the product area Online Services, ensuring self-service capabilities for post-purchase journeys
Ensure the right architecture, solutions, competency, and right-sizing across all product areas.
Lead a team of 5 direct reports and several developers under their supervision.
Manage offshore and outsourcing teams to ensure thorough execution.
Partner with other engineering managers, product managers, design agencies to liaise solutions and development efforts
Proactively identify solutions and ensure right-sizing of teams across all areas
Mentor, coach, and foster team growth
Recruit, onboard, and integrate new team members
Who you are:
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years as a team lead
Strong hands-on experience in React.js (essential)
Expertise in Next.js and headless CMS (essential)
Knowledge of backend for frontend architecture (essential) - design systems
Proven experience leading a team of developers and engineers - 20
Technical experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)
A strong technical background with a passion for coding and hands-on involvement in engineering challenges
Exceptional skills in mentoring, coaching, and fostering team growth
Experience recruiting, onboarding, and integrating new team members
Comfortable leading offshore and outsourcing teams
Background in a digital product organization is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to identifying solutions
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Objectives for 2025:
Architect and progressively execute our North Star strategy to transition our brand site and commerce hybrid solution to an e-tailing first experience
Execute the Digital First, by rolling out the self-service capabilities across all markets in EU and APAC

This is a fixed term position for parental cover (10 months). You will be at our Electrolux Headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. You will be part of a dynamic international team where English is the natural language.
