Job Description

We're seeking a temporary Engineering Manager for our Workplace Collaboration Team. In this role, you'll lead and coach a team of experienced Software Engineers, leveraging your extensive experience within Workplace Collaboration. You'll be part of H&M Group's Digital Workplace Unit, responsible for the digital workplace experience of over 100,000 H&M Group colleagues globally.
You will be responsible for the global on-prem store Telephony, Sweden Mobile Telephony, Teams Telephony, MTR-meetings Room, Internal Communication Platform, Miro, Mentimeter and ChatGPT.
You'll collaborate closely with external vendors, business stakeholders, and tech teams to optimize the utilization of our Collaboration Tech Suite.

Main Responsibilities
Maintain and refine the Collaboration team's long-term strategy, roadmap, and objectives.
Lead and coach a team of Software Engineers, including formal staff responsibility.
Play a critical role in external vendor management and negotiation.
Manage budget and forecasting.
Oversee license management, including procurement, monitoring, compliance, and optimization to maximize the value of our Collaboration investments.
Ensure governance processes are designed, defined, and configurations are set up accordingly.
Maintain service, monitor platform governance processes, such as the process for 3rd party applications on the platform.
Implement security compliance (security, risk, architecture, capacity, availability) of the Collaboration Tech Suite.
Continuously identify opportunities for service and business improvements, including more efficient use of available technologies and increased automation capabilities.
Analyze business requirements, as well as IT operational and non-functional requirements, to design contemporary architecture and practical solutions.

Qualifications
Experience within Voice & Video, internal communication and or other workplace collaboration tech landscape.
Proven ability to coach others, enabling them to grow professionally and increase their performance.
Experience in building a successful community of practice.
Experience setting and handling resource allocation budgets.
Proven track record in driving technology roadmaps and defining technical direction for Collaboration Suites.
Experience leading cross-functional projects and anchoring technical direction with key business stakeholders.
Experience in IT Infrastructure Service Management and associated service models for providing shared services to international customers.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills (verbal and written English proficiency is a must)

Additional Information
This is a full time temporary position for 12 months with start in August or by agreement.
This position is based in our office in Stockholm, Sweden and requires on-site presence 3-4 days a week.
