Your role within our Kingdom
At King, we know that investing in our talent is key to our continuous success. As our new Engineering Manager for Data, you will inspire and empower the individuals in your team so they can excel in building great software, whilst supporting individual career growth through specific goal setting and continuous feedback.
You'll have a humble and open approach to leadership, with a strong belief in autonomy plus having a keen interest in gaming and techy stuff!
The Data team is divided into 2 areas: "Streaming" and "Tracking", with a total of 18 epic team mates (Developers/Engineers, POs, Agile Test Leads), highly passionate about data, personalization, robots and game design based on player behavior.

You'll be a vital player in helping the company in taking real-time actions that optimize King 's games for hundreds of millions of players using truly cutting edge technologies. We think your saga started through a passion for problem-solving and tech, leading forward towards developing exciting software. You also have a soft spot for humans and are a committed leader who thrives in helping people grow!
• Experienced Development/Engineering Manager with a passion for developing others
• Technical background in software engineering (from roles such as developer, programmer, architect, data scientist)
• Genuine interest for the data area and how to utilize data to create better products that our players will love!
Bonus:
• We know you're intrigued, one way or the other, by the gaming world and if you also have professional experience from the gaming industry, we sure would like to hear your story!
