This role is within Complete Software Integration and Verification, which are testing all deliveries of the extended electrical system to secure a robust and reliable integrated product. We are continuously adding more test value at a rapidly increasing delivery speed, and you will be part of innovating new ways to secure software deliveries to millions of end customers.
We are now expanding our complete software integration and test community and are looking for two engaged and technically experienced team managers to help us develop our teams and innovate new ways of delivering fantastic software.
This position will be located in Gothenburg in collaboration with other testing team on site and in Shanghai China.
You And Your Skills
We are seeking a candidate with leadership experience in managing organizations with complex tasks and coaching empowered teams. The ideal candiadte will have senior experience in software or test and integration within large-scale software development organizations. A Master's degree in Electrical or Software Engineering or similar relevant experience is required, along with 8-10 years of experience working with Embedded Systems and Software Test and Integration.
High communication and cooperation skills are essential, and fluency in speaking and writing Swedish and/or English is a must. The candidate should also possess a strategic mindset with a strong focus on delivery.
Meritorious qualifications include testing experience in Embedded Software development or Software Testing in complete vehicles or on target hardware (hardware-in-the-loop), software coding experience, and familiarity with agile development.
We are looking for someone with a leadership profile who can motivate and delegate effectively, has an interest in leading and developing co-workers and empowered teams, and possesses strong communication and interaction skills. Networking abilities, a solution-oriented approach, and an innovative, value-driven mindset are also important. The ideal candidate will be driven and self-motivated, with an interest in creating a creative work environment, good analytical skills with a focus on the bigger picture, and an interest in developing methods and processes. An open and positive personality, logical and tactical thinking, and a result-oriented mindset with an interest in handling complexity are key attributes.
A valid B-level driver's license is required.
What you'll do
You'll be responsible of a team of 15-20 dedicated members. As a manager of these, you'll be responsible of creating development opportunities, establish a long-term competence development, planning activities as well as recruiting for future key competences. You'll support the group in the day-to-day work, work to secure software integration, test-strategy development and actively participate in the department's management group.
