In brief We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our leadership team on our mission to create a development organisation where people, ideas & innovation can thrive. We believe that the primary objective of the leader is to create an enabling environment for the team to succeed. We live what we preach by working as a team of managers.
About the role
As Engineering Manager you will typically lead two teams, and you will work in close collaboration with the other managers to continuously improve the development organisation. As Engineering Manager you are responsible for the outcome of your teams, and you use coaching and facilitation to help your teams grow, succeed and continuously deliver value. You promote modern ways of working both within your teams and within Nordnet.
You report to the Head of Engineering and will be located in Stockholm together with the rest of Engineering.
This is you
You are passionate about agile development, leadership, coaching and technology. You are adaptive and communicative in a way that benefits the team's working climate and ability to excel.
You have a background that probably includes:
• Leading agile teams
• At least 5 years of experience working as Engineer in an agile dev team
• Agile methodologies
• Coaching and facilitation
• At least a BSc degree or similar in relevant field
• Fluent language skills in English
• Bank & Finance experience is a plus
