The Engineering department is a multi-disciplinary team responsible for designing and developing the systems which are used to manufacture and develop our unique products. With Exeger's disruptive light-charging material and multitude of customer applications, our manufacturing systems must always push the boundaries of what's possible to make.
You will lead the Mechatronics Engineering team within the Engineering department, shaping the future manufacturing platforms and architecting the electrical, control system and production monitoring system used to produce Exeger's unique material.
What you will do
The team is looking for an experienced project manager, team lead or line manager with an automation and control systems background to drive the progress of our inhouse developed machines and their integration with the manufacturing execution system. You will be:
Leading and supporting a team of 14+ hardworking engineers and technicians
Translating customer needs into technical requirements and system blueprints for both our existing factory and our, soon-to-be-launched, second urban factory
Supporting issue and project management within the Engineering and Production departments
Qualifications
Our recruitment process focuses as much on personality/culture fit as it does on merit. That said, we know that you will have a better chance at succeeding in this role if you have the following experience:
Minimum BSc in Engineering, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing or equivalent degree.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in project or team management role(s).
Experience with integration, selection and development of PLCs, industrial robots and electrical distribution systems.
Have experience leading cross functional development teams.
Strong communication skills
If you also have any of the experiences below it is considered highly meriting:
Discrete or continuous manufacturing systems.
Leading and supporting CE marking, FMEAs, risk analysis, HAZIDs or HAZOPs.
Familiarity with EN 60204, ISO 10218, IEC 61508 or similar functional safety standards.
Using CI/CD and source code management tools.
Test automation and MIL, SIL and HIL test systems.
