Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for the engineering operations for tap-changers, leading a team of 20 engineers including six coordinators for different focus areas.
You are responsible for competence planning and execution which includes training and coaching of your team to continuously improve the business performance. You will also oversee resource planning.
Provide insight and develop priorities for engineering projects and services, while ensuring engineering performance and quality goals are met.
Establish engineering standards, develop new, productive tools and manage budgetary controls.
Set priority of tasks and secure that our complex products meet set quality standards and legal requirements.
Be engaged in creating the development of an engineering strategy that are in line with the organization's vision.
Your background
University degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
Previous experience from Engineering or R&D
Knowledge in transformers or transformer components is preferred.
Some years of managerial experience is a merit.
You are skilled at managing different types of people, able to coach as well as motivate and inspire others
You have good presentation skills
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
