As an Engineering Manager at Tink, your primary role involves fostering high-performing, engaged, and content teams that are continually learning. Your focus will be on developing superior products of exceptional quality, with the ultimate goal of ensuring our customers' success.
We are looking to strengthen engineering leadership across our full tech organization and have opportunities in multiple areas with each requiring various characteristics. We are looking for candidates that have a proven track record of e.g.:
• Building a scalable high-volume platform and working with senior engineers
• Operational excellence and how to engage and optimize teams that are doing maintenance work
• Having deep knowledge and experience of how to run cloud infrastructure and developer tooling teams at scale
• Setting high expectations for your engineers, and having coached, grown, and mentored them toward reaching them
• Building a learning organization and are continuously learning as a leader
What you will do
• Ensure the delivery of the team. You will enable the team to reach their targets by removing impediments, clarifying goals and fostering ownership and accountability
• Own the team's overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects cross-product teams
• Work closely with product management to ensure we're building products in the best way and to deliver on customer commitments and targets
• Setting clear priorities and providing leadership in a fast-paced and innovative environment
• Grow your direct reports professionally so they can have a larger impact and drive more complex initiatives
• Being data-driven and always seeking new ways of improving your services

What we're looking for
You have a business oriented mindset, you understand how your projects and delivery influences the business growth and you see the link between engineering and product development. You can take ownership over the full delivery and the development of your team.
We would like you to have
• You have a track record of operational excellence and have led a change initiative, for example taking a project or team from A to B
• You have a solid experience from working in an agile development environment
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience from hiring and leading high performance engineering teams
