Meet our team
You will manage a team of 6-10 engineers
You will work closely with your product and design peers setting the direction for your team
You will be part of the Zettle Engineering Leadership and drive cross organization engineering initiatives together with your peer Engineering leaders
You will be part of the POS Alliance reporting to the director of engineering
Your way to impact
The Product Library and Inventory team is a key enabler of Zettle by PayPal's POS offering. In this role you will get the opportunity to coach and mentor a team of skilled engineers (Java Backend, Web, iOS, Android and QA) to deliver a world-class experience for the users of our POS.
Your day-to-day
You will coach and mentor your team of 6-10 engineers
You will have the delivery accountability for the Product Library and Inventory team scope
You work closely with product and design to set the roadmap for your team
You collaborate across the organization to remove obstacles and unlock your team to deliver great products
You are on top of the technical details and don't hesitate to jump into the code if required
What do you need to bring
You love developing people and delivering great products.
You have experience as a people manager from a technical setup.
You have hands-on experience delivering amazing app experiences for users (BE, iOS, Web and Android).
You have substantial experience in SW architecture and doing design/code reviews.
You are experienced with agile methodologies and commonly used tools like Jira and Github
You are experienced in software lifecycle management including time estimation, planning, QA and incident management.
