JOB DESCRIPTION
As Engineering Manager you will head a team of highly skilled and experienced engineers responsible for the important process of identifying and assessing ideas for products and features that may provide a valuable base for Axis’ future success.
You will have the overall responsibility and your main tasks will include:
• Manage prototyping activities to investigate new product and feature ideas.
• Budgeting, resource allocation and day-to-day operation.
• Lead organizational and process development.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a driven and goal oriented Engineering Manager with previous leadership experience to lead and prioritize the work in our Product Concept & New Ideas team. We believe you have an educational background with an Engineering/Technical Master’s degree or equivalent.
Furthermore we believe you have an interest for and experience of innovation management and are an open minded leader with a problem solving ability. You enjoy taking responsibility and are good at motivating and encouraging the people you work with.
THE PRODUCT CONCEPT & NEW IDEAS TEAM
The Product Concept & New Ideas team is part of Axis’ Technologies department responsible for the creation and exploitation of new ideas for future products and features. We identify and implement means to stimulate creativity, we gather new ideas and assess their potential and we perform prototyping activities.
