What you'll do
At Volvo Cars in the Electrical Infrastructure department: we develop the galvanic electrical system, electrical harnesses and safeguard the electrical attributes - ELP (Electrical Performance) and EMC.
We have responsibilities throughout the complete development cycle, and to the launch of the car. This includes all steps in the process from defining electrical system and related harness & components, to the integration of our products into vehicles, and integration testing, for all involved disciplines.
As an Engineering Manager, you will build, lead, and develop an organization that is responsible for the ELP area. You will proactively work with competence development to assure the right skills within the team as well as recruiting and onboarding new members. A large part of the work is bringing different technologies and people together into a coherent solution that is well-aligned and highly effective. You will continue to develop our relations within Volvo Cars R&D and external partners.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with collaboration and balancing of different stakeholders.
• Have previously worked with Electronics Development.
Experience related to the automotive industry, and/or electrical motors/infrastructure, and working from an international environment is meritorious in this role. Leadership experiences such as working in large-scale companies is also meritorious.
