Job Description
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee our Developer Tools Enablement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing staff, running managed services, and coordinating with sourcing partners. The main focus of this role is to drive the adoption and optimization of developer tools, including Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Docker Desktop, and various other development tools, in line with our tech strategy.

Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers focused on developer tools enablement.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our managed service for developer tools.
Collaborate with a sourcing partner to ensure effective tool and service delivery.
Drive the implementation and integration of developer tools.
Develop and maintain best practices for tool usage, ensuring security, efficiency, and scalability.
Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide solutions that enhance their workflows.
Monitor and optimize tool performance, addressing any issues or bottlenecks promptly.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and tools to continually improve our developer enablement strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role, preferably in a developer tools or DevOps environment.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Docker Desktop, and other relevant developer tools.
Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers.
Experience in running managed services and coordinating with sourcing partners.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
A proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies and methodologies.

This is a full-time permanent position, starting as soon as possible according to agreement. The role is an on-site position, based in our office in Stockholm, Sweden.
