hela Sverige We are recruiting an Engineering Manager with a focus on Data and Analytics to join our M Intelligence team. At M, we help our customers move freely, meaningfully and sustainably, and we want you along for the ride.
The Intelligence Team at M
Based on the five pillars of Analysis, BI, Data Engineering, Data Product Development and R&D, M Intelligence sets and drives the strategic data agenda at M. As a team, we build data and analytics products using machine learning and other tools, both for internal stakeholders and for our customers.
Your role as an Engineering Manager with a focus on Data and Analytics
In this role, you will support the team, team deliveries, and individual team members, through coaching, listening, facilitating and guiding. Apart from your managerial responsibilities, you will also work alongside the Head of Intelligence to develop and operationalise the strategic agenda for data and analytics at M, and assume an advisory role in the different ongoing Intelligence work streams.
Your primary responsibility will be to work with individual team members, and provide support to grow through feedback, coaching and career development. On a team level, your pragmatic approach will help remove obstacles that hinders the team, whilst also trusting their ability to find a way forward. In delivery, your previous experience in the field will position you to give guidance and coach the team to find good solutions.
This role will require you to be located in, or be willing to relocate to, Stockholm.
Your leadership qualities
You have a clear view of your leadership values, which include leading with authenticity and kindness.
You are comfortable assuming a follower role when others are more suitable to lead, especially if they don't have a formal leadership role.
You enjoy working with people from different backgrounds, and value building diverse teams.
You have previous experience and competence with
Practical work as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or BI Engineer
Having led teams in an agile and open organisation
Management and leadership experience including people responsibilities and an established toolbox for developing teams individuals, processes and promoting change in a product setting
Identifying and growing talent within a data team, understanding people's motivation and setting them up for success through mentorship models and individual coaching
Extra awesome if you
Have experience with formulating and executing data or product strategy in an organisation
Have experience of access economy products and services
Have experience from a scale up and/or international expansion phase
