We are now looking for our next Engineering Manager for the Core Platform Internal Chip team, who wants to be part of a forward-thinking and encouraging environment!
Your future team
The team you will lead is responsible for the part of AXIS OS embedded software closest to the SoC/ASIC and product electronics that enables the best performance in areas such as image and video processing and quality, radar processing and power consumption in Axis video surveillance products. The software platform we develop is the foundation for most Axis video surveillance products and is a central enabler to build new innovative products. The team consists of very dedicated and skilled engineers, junior and senior, that work together in agile teams.
What will you do?
In this role you will lead the team operationally and strategically, making sure that everyone gets the needed support and coaching. You will also constantly improve our teamwork and ways of working.
We work together in the management team and have close relationships with product and program managers to develop our future technology and product platforms to meet the needs of future customers in the video surveillance market. In this role you will cooperate with managers and leaders in our management team and other parts of Axis R&D and the technology development organization.
You set the framework and directions, and place great trust in your team to deliver with your support!
Your main tasks will be to:
* Develop your team and its members related to both the needs of the company as well as in balance with the needs of every individual.
* Together with our engineers plan and strategically develop our technical areas of responsibility.
* Run the day-to-day operations making sure that we have and build the right competence.
* Perform standard management tasks like development talks, salary setting, budgeting, recruitment, etc.

In addition to the above you have/are;
* Leadership experience, such as Team Lead, Project Manager or Line Manager.
* Master's degree in engineering
* Experience of software development in embedded systems
* Interest in developing and challenge yourself as leader and manager
* Interest in technology and product development
* Fluent in Swedish and English.
